Each grouping of the boys are expressing different phases of experiences in preschool, which of course we carry on into adolescence and eventually adulthood. Remember the 3 Phases of Eve.
Foreground : inquisitive; in the middle kindred buddy-system ; and background isolation. We all pass through these portals and entablatures to get to where we are today.
